I recently read The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo. WOW! What a wonderful book! Edward is a china rabbit owned by a little girl named Abilene. Abilene adores Edward. Sadly, Edward loves no one, not even Abilene. When Edward gets tossed overboard the Queen Mary, his journey begins. Over time and through many adventures, Edward finally learns what it is like to love someone. sniff...sniff...I still get all sniffly thinking about the wonderful way this books ends. You'll love it!
