We love Meg Cabot, author of the Allie Finkle series of books! Check out this author GLOG! Pride students may create and submit their own author Glogs. Just ask Mrs. Cotton about how to get started!
Were you aware that our fifth grade students participate in Drama activities when they visit the library media center? We learn about and discuss Drama vocabulary as well as participate in games and other activities focusing on drama! Lately, we've been learning about Performance Elements and Improvisation. This week, Mrs. Wyatt's class filmed an improv piece about gorillas invading the library!

Fourth and fifth graders have been reviewing the Dewey Decimal System in the Library Media Center for the past two weeks. We use the DDS to organize nonfiction books in the library, making it much easier to find what we are looking for.
Here are two videos to help you get aquainted with the Dewey Decimal System! Enjoy!
We love comments and hope you'll take a moment to leave a comment. Please note that all comments are moderated. We enjoy your feedback and want to know about the books you are reading! Do you want to write a review or recommend some great books for fellow Falcons? Students and staff are encouraged to post on our book blog. Just see Mrs. Cotton and she'll help you get started!
When you purchase a book from our Amazon Wishlist and donate it to our school library media center, we will add a name plate to each book in honor of your child/grandchild/family.
Students, if you have a great title to add to our Wishlist, please let Mrs. Cotton know about it!
